The Independent Network Operations Consortium (INOC) recently received its SOC 2 Type 2 report, according to President Jim Becker. INOC provides high-end data services, internet connectivity, disaster recovery, colocation and managed hosting solutions from its two Albany locations. The SOC 2 Type 2 audit is a mechanism for service organizations to report on the design and effectiveness of its policies, procedures and controls.

HERNDON, VA – November 14, 2013 – ePlus inc. (NASDAQ NGS: PLUS – news) today announced that its subsidiary, ePlus Technology, inc., acquired the assets of AdviStor, Inc., a storage-focused solutions provider located in Pittsford, NY, on November 14, 2013. As a result of the acquisition, ePlus expands its existing presence in upstate New York and adds enhanced storage engineering and sales delivery capabilities. Details of the transaction are not being disclosed.
